Residential Fire Alarm Permits

A residential fire alarm permit is required for all new construction and some renovations and additions as determined collectively by the Building and Fire departments.  The Sudbury Fire Department will review plans submitted and can assist as necessary indicating where smoke and carbon monoxide detectors should be placed.  During the rough wiring phase, please call the Sudbury Fire Department (978-443-2239) to schedule a preliminary inspection.  Once the installation is completed, call to schedule a final inspection.   Inspections are scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00am and noon.
