Planning Board and Conservation Commission jointly adopt new Stormwater Regulations
The Planning Board and the Conservation Commission jointly held a public hearing on September 9, 2009 to hear comments on the proposed Stormwater Management Bylaw Regulations, and at the same meeting adopted the new Stormwater Management Bylaw Regulations. The regulations detail the procedures for applying for permits under the new Stormwater Management Bylaw, as well as list the design criteria for the various components of the stormwater management systems.
These regulations will also be incorporated into both the Rules and Regulations Governing the Subdivision of Land in Sudbury (the Subdivision Regulations) and the Sudbury Wetlands Administration Bylaw, so that a consistent approach to stormwater is taken by both boards.
Persons seeking applications under the new Bylaw are asked to consult with either the Director of Planning and Community Development, Jody Kablack at kablackj@sudbury.ma.us, or the Conservation Coordinator, Debbie Dineen at dineend@sudbury.ma.us, prior to submitting an application. Application forms can be obtained in either of these offices.
