The Adaptive Sports & Recreation Program at the Sudbury Park & Recreation Department is committed to providing year round, affordable, community based programming for individuals with disabilities. The Adaptive Sports & Recreation Program offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, as well as resources for residents. Recognizing the importance of recreation and leisure in the lives of all community members, the adaptive sports and recreation programs strives to improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through continued and successful involvement in sports and recreation programs.

| When will the next Park & Recreation/Atkinson Pool brochure be available? The Sudbury Park and Recreation Department brochure is mailed to our database of Recreation and Pool Members four times per year. The brochure is mailed in August (Fall), December (Winter), January (Summer Camps & Clinics), March (Spring), and June (Summer). The brochure has information on the various programs offered by the Recreation Department including Atkinson Pool, Inclusive and Adaptive Programming, and Teen Center events. |

| Can I participate with my child? Depending on the program, parents and/or caregivers are welcomed, if not required, to participate in programs with children. Please speak with Anna Wood for information. |
| I don't live in Sudbury, can I still participate? YES! All of the adaptive sports & recreation programs are open to anyone that wants to participate, regardless of their hometown. |
| Who runs your programs? All of the adaptive sports & recreation programs are facilitate or instructed by individuals with certifications and/or experience in their respective fields. Many of these individuals are licensed therapists, practitioners, or clinicians. |
